french toast

Ingredients

  • 1 bread slice (preferably white toast bread or brioche bread)
  • 50 ml skimmed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 20ml clotted cream
  • 2 gr sugar powder
  • 1 gr cinnamon powder
  • 1 tin of custard
  • 20 gr unsalted butter

How to prepare:

Cut a thick slice off the bread. Soak the slice of bread into the milk and egg mix and panfry it into a buttered frying pan, colour on both sides and finish it off with the sugar powder. Mix the clotted cream with the cinnamon. Open the tin of custard. Serve the bread on a plate, sauce the custard around and spoon some off the clotted cream on the bread. You can serve this with fresh fruits.
