Who doesn’t love coffee?
Aside from boosting our energies, coffee is known to have antioxidant properties and helps us prevent serious health conditions like diabetes and cancer. But despite having a number of great health benefits, this fact remains: having coffee – let alone, too much of it – is not really great for us due to caffeine, which may cause addiction like that of illegal drugs.
Thankfully, coffee is not the only one we can drink to boost our energies. Even more so, coffee is not the only one we can healthily drink to boost our energies.
So if you’re looking for healthier alternatives to coffee, here are some of them:
- Wheatgrass Juice. Wheatgrass juice is best known to contain every vitamin and mineral known to us. It’s also rich in protein, as well as amino acids (which helps improve our protein content) and chlorophyll (which helps improve our blood production). Moreover, wheatgrass itself helps normalize our digestive system and gets rid of body toxins. It’s also easy to make, especially if you have a juicer like what’s seen on http://juicerkings.com/best-wheatgrass-juicers/.
- Smoothies (With Nuts). Aside from being a refreshing drink, smoothies (with nuts) are known for being rich in protein. It’s also known to be rich in fiber, which helps normalize our digestive tract. And if you want to be up and running or walking or swimming or rowing all day, nutty ingredients on smoothies like cashew milk and nut butter helps elevate your blood sugar level – just enough to keep you going the entire day.
- Chai Tea. While tea is also known to have caffeine, its content level is just enough for a person to be up and running all day. That being said, why not drink Chai tea instead? Chai tea is generally made from black tea (which is known to prevent high cholesterol levels, low concentration levels, and problems with digestion), milk, and spices like cinnamon and ginger (both of which are great for preventing liver and kidney diseases).
- Lemon Water. Water, by itself, is already great for preventing every complication known to man. However, mixing it together with lemon can make it even great for preventing every complication known to man. Aside from that, lemon is an excellent source of vitamin C – the mother of all vitamins, which helps fight off serious diseases and helps boosts your immune system at the same time.
