The Passage Cafe is a very good small restaurant. The food was well cooked, the wine and the cidre were both very nice and the service was extremely good. Cant wait to return.

Well run, authentic feeling bistro. great food with original touches. excellent value, service and cider aperitifs.

The Passage Cafe is a small joint hidden away in Clerkenwell. The small menu and excellent specials offer a good variety and well cooked food at a very low price.

The Passage Cafe was wonderful. Can\'t wait to go back.

Simple, informal dining. The style is definitely and authentically French - and representative of the simpler French bistro/crêperie end. All four of us who dined found the food delicious and very interesting. The chocolate soup with black pepper ice cream is a must for any chocoholic. Vegetarians unusually well catered for, for a French restaurant. Friendly service. Excellent value. A pleasant change from usual hyper-stimulated eateries of Clerkenwell.

If times are hard, but you don\'t want compromise on great cuisine and ambience, then Passage Cafe is the place for you. This little gem is hidden away just 5 minutes north of Farringdon but is worth seeking out for authentic French cuisine. If the salted cod is on the menu then ensure that somebody in your group at least tries it. The wine was excellent and the food great, especially the L\'escargot a notre \"facon\" and the crepe Normandie. Will definitely return at lunch for the creperie menu

I adore this little gem. The Passage Café looks like a diminutive french café; but the food reminded me of the kind of feast one might enjoy in a michellein star establishment. Sublime tastes and presentation acompanied by attentive service, although little slow at times, made for a wonderful evening. The food was delicious, wholesome and nutrititious. Would return.

Clerkenwell\'s hidden jewel - this bistro is unmissable Fancy a latte, sweet crepe or berry-laden greek yoghurt mid morning? How about a savoury pancake, risotto or a toastie at lunch? Or better still, a splendid five-course meal with your own wine decanted for under £30 a head? Whatever you fancy, you can\'t beat the Passage Cafe for delicious food, affordably priced and impeccably presented. The imaginations of chef Konrad Ingelhram and general manager Pascal Libra, formerly of Marco-Pierre White\'s gastronomic empire, have free rein at this terrific bistro. I feel so lucky to work just round the corner. Stop in next time you\'re in the neighbourhood, and tell Caterina that Kate sent you. You\'re in for a treat!

Hearty food in a cozy setting Very cozy little French creperie/restaurant. Have been here several times already for both lunch and dinner and even take away. And have been constantly surprised each time I try something new! Their savoury pancakes and soups are perfect for lunch (you have to try the goats cheese and tomato) are truly a bargain, while dinner is simply amazing (try the escargo and tartufle) - different from other French/Belgium places and truly hearty food served with a smile. In summary, great food, reasonably priced, really friendly service!
